Altadena, CA – March 8, 2007 – The full line of Arecont Vision megapixel IP
cameras is supported by Milestone XProtect, the world market leader for open platform IP video surveillance software.


Arecont Vision and Milestone Systems announce that the complete line of Arecont Vision megapixel cameras, including the revolutionary 8 megapixel panoramic AV8360 and AV8180, is supported by Milestone XProtect IP video surveillance software. This support enables users worldwide to utilize Arecont Vision cameras with the world’s leading open platform IP video management software, according to IMS Research two years in a row.


The Arecont Vision product line includes the 5, 3, 2 and 1.3 megapixel models that deliver fullmotion digital video at analog camera price levels. Arecont Vision also offers unique highperformance multi-sensor cameras that drastically reduce the user cost per unit area under surveillance. These 8 megapixel quad-sensor 180° and 360° panoramic cameras, AV8360 and
AV8180, feature proprietary SurroundVideo® technology and deliver 24 times the resolution of the best analog surveillance cameras. In addition, the dual-sensor 3/1.3 megapixel DayNightTM AV-3130, the world’s fastest dual-sensor network camera, offers crystal clear imagery down to starlight conditions of 0.01 lux.
