| Event Information : | View the MIPS 2012 brochure MIPS has grown considerably since its launch in 1994, featuring hundreds of domestic and international exhibitors each year. The size of the event increases every year as its reputation grows. A large part of the growth must also be attributed to the increased demand for security products in Russia and the growing number of international companies entering the market. Sector development: As the security industry develops, so does MIPS, making it an accurate representation of the industry. The comprehensive business programme is one of the key features of MIPS. Seminars will be held during the event, providing additional opportunities to learn about the Russian market and the products and new technologies that are currently available. Since 2009, the contest winners' equipment has been recommended to the governmental list of installation products, providing a fast route into the Russian market by considerably cutting the lengthy certification procedures. The 2010 nominations were: security signalling systems, control and access management systems, CCTV and video surveillance systems, integrated security systems, information publications and fire alarm systems. The winning companies included: TD ZEP OKHRANA, Nedap Security Management, Alfa-Pribor, Detsima, Panasonic, Skyros Corporation, Argus-Spectrum & Integra-S, C-Nord, Rielta, Bolid, Eternis. |
